Former Satanist Becomes Catholic by Betty Brennan

From the CD sleeve: "How great a threat is the occult? In this provocative testimony, former satanist Betty Brennan shares the story of her remarkable journey from a dark existence of devil worship to the fulfillment of truth in Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. You will be enlightened by her amazing sojourn, her search for deliverance, and her mission to open the eyes of others to the truth of the devil."

This CD tells the amazing story of Betty Brennan who participated in the Satanic Cult for many years. She got involved in the occult because a person with whom she worked with in the orchestra (Betty is a cellist), befriended her during a very difficult time in her life. This "friend" did not try to invite her or convert her to Devil worship. He simply was a friend. And friends do as friends do. This gives us a very concrete way that we are to share our Catholic Faith: with our friends. The friendship must come first. We must be there for our friends, listen to them, help them, spend time with them. Then when the most important questions of life come about, we can then share with them the beauty of our Catholic Faith.

In this a address which was originally given at a Catholic Charismatic Conference, Betty shares an amazing fact: many people who participate in Satanism know better the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist then do some Catholics. She gives several examples of " witches" who can pick out the consecrated host, one out of 2000!

The second half of her talk challenges us all to know our faith and live it every day. How many of us know well the 7 sacraments, the 10 commandments, the precepts of the church and the teachings that come down from the Magisterium, i.e. the teaching authority of the Catholic Church?

This CD is one of several conversion stories from Lighthouse Catholic Media. Others include: "Finding the Fullness of Faith" by Steve Ray, "The Bible Made Me Do It" by Tim Staples, "A Pastor's Wife's Journey Home" by Kimberly Hahn and "Quest for Truth: A Convert's Perspective" by David Currie. All are available on the online store in both CD and MP3 format  at
